Ipster sends a callback request or alert straight to the right colleague or channel in Slack. Your team sees at once who called and what it was about, without anyone typing up a note.
Ipster and Slack, directly connected
You choose which actions the agent may use. This works for phone and for chat.
Know the colleagues and channels
The agent knows the colleagues and channels in your Slack workspace. That way it sends the message to a real person or an existing channel.
Send a direct message
The agent sends a callback request or alert straight to one colleague.
A message in a channel
For a whole team or department, the agent posts the message in the right channel.
A callback note after the call
If a transfer did not work out, the requested colleague or team still gets a message with the caller, subject, summary and a link to the call. The colleague decides for themselves whether to call back.
Only to allowed channels
You decide which channels the agent may send to. A channel outside the list is refused.
A fixed message format
If you like, you give the agent a message format as a guideline, so every message looks the same.
Your customer wants to speak to someone
Ipster answers and hears who the customer needs.
The agent finds the destination
It knows the colleagues and channels in your Slack workspace and picks the right one according to your prompt.
The message goes out
A direct message to the colleague or a message in the team channel.
Your team follows up
The colleague sees who called and what it was about, and decides for themselves whether to call back.

Choose the actions
Switch direct messages and channel messages on or off, one by one.
Limit the channels
Choose which channels the agent may send to, so a callback request does not end up in the wrong channel.
Set up the callback note
Decide whether the note after the call is on, when it is sent and where it goes if the agent cannot find a colleague.
Connect Slack
Connect with one click using the "Connect with Slack" button and choose your workspace, or paste the bot token of your own Slack app.
Choose the actions
Decide whether the agent may send direct messages, channel messages or both, and choose the allowed channels if needed.
Tell it who goes where
Describe in the prompt which colleague or channel should get which kind of message, for example invoices to the accounting channel.
The list of colleagues and channels is synchronised. If something new has been added, refresh the list in the settings of the connection.
